從屬子句

Subordinate Clauses: because / since / although / while

從屬子句把原因、讓步、對比嵌進主句，讓論點一次說完。

規則／用法

because 直接原因；since / as 較已知背景（語氣較柔）。
although / even though：讓步，比 but 更「整句包裝」。
while / whereas：對比兩邊；while 也可表時間重疊。
when / after / before / as soon as：時間從屬；美式口語 *once* 很常用（*Once we have keys…*）。
