時態一致與間接引述

Sequence of Tenses & Reported Speech

轉述時，時間視角常往後退一格；但「現在仍真」可保持現在式。

規則／用法

直述→間接：am/is→was、will→would、can→could、have→had（常規後退）。
若轉述內容仍成立：*She said the office is on Congress Ave.* 可維持現在式。
間接問句：疑問詞＋陳述語序；Yes/No 用 if/whether。
職場：書面會議紀錄常用 *X noted that… / X asked whether…*。
